"Trust"

“Trust”

In today’s society, the word and meaning of trust has been so convoluted, it has become poison to our system, leaving us with a willingness to be deceived from all sides. Do you remember the day you said Lord save me and suddenly there was a hunger that built up inside you to know ALL there is to know about the Lord? Do you remember that fracturing feeling inside you, as small as it was that something you just heard didn’t quite sit right with you on the inside? Do you remember the fight that went on in you that pretty much said; these are teachers, preachers, and students of the Bible and I know nothing so maybe they’re right in what they teach me? Well, believe it or not, that was the Holy Spirit working in your new heart of flesh telling you to study and find out the truth for yourself! Most of us however don’t do that, God provided each of us with an EWS system, (Early Warning System), but we ignore it.
The Hebrew word for trust: H982 bâṭach Baw takh'
A primitive root; properly to hie for refuge (but not so precipitately as H2620); figuratively to trust, be confident or sure: - be bold (confident, secure, sure), careless (one, woman), put confidence, (make to) hope, (put, make to) trust.
Pro 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
Note; This scripture makes it quite clear, we’re to trust in the Lord, but nowhere in it does it say to trust in man, it actually tells us to steer clear of man’s interpretations, when it says lean not! So what went wrong, how did we end up, so confused and deceived in our understanding of what God told us to do or be aware of? From the beginning, satan was out to destroy us, some of us from the inside, some from the outside, and some from both directions. Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
2Co 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
These verses are just as much declarations of warnings, as they are informative truths, but as brand new believers, we don’t know this. This is why it is so important that we be led to obey God and not man, why leadership should be pointing to God’s Word and teaching us how to build an intimate relationship with the Lord. Leadership can help us to gain some insight, but nonetheless, leadership should be teaching us to seek the Lord for ourselves.
Though our war is not against flesh and blood, unfortunately or unblessedly or whatever religious word you want to put in this sentence, man the liar has help satan corrupt the purity of God’s Word. In 1st John, the Word tells us very distinctly to seek out the Spirit of truth that can only teach us truth and no lie, but do we, do our leaders teach us this? My first teacher at Pastors school, prayed a prayer every class, in the beginning and ending of the class and he always put that scripture into the prayer. This teacher, Reverend Christianson, set a course in my life with that scripture that finally panned out, and little by little, I learned to lean unto the truth from the Spirit of truth, rather that lean to my understanding or that of any leadership. I thank you very much Reverend Christianson! If I were to tell you the moon is dark, you would naturally think me insane, but if I tell you the moon is lit, you would by leaning to your own understanding agree with me. What happened to that momentary thought, where your mind went WHAT?, because I said the moon is dark? Somewhere in your mind, you knew I spoke a truth for saying the moon is dark, but it just didn’t sit right with the understanding of your mind. We forget, there is a dark side of the moon, a side where the reflective light of the sun does not reach, but because we cannot see it normally, we refuse to believe it, causing us to lean to our own understanding. This is the very same point that God makes in His Word, especially when He says; lean not to our own understanding.
Are we aware that a coin has three sides to it, a face side, a tales side, and a balance side and a coin can stand on its end when perfectly balanced? God’s Word is very much a balance principle, and most assuredly can stand all on its own, so then that being said; why can’t we learn to put our trust in what God said, and stop believing man for what God says? Rom 3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
We have all heard and hopefully we all believe that Jesus will return soon, but are we aware that Jesus is looking for those who trust God, who trust Jesus the living Word of God? Luk 18:8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?
Luk 18:9 And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:
We seriously need to understand, and please don’t just take my word for it, check it out for yourselves, God is looking for those who trust Him fully and completely, in absolute confidence, that What He said;, He will perform it!
Not to be rude, but it is time the church woke up and grew up, none of us knows the hour or the day of the Lords return, we really need to be fully prepared. Now, go obey the Lord and sin no more, and see the abundant life take over your whole being. God bless you all!

Can you hear in your heart what the Spirit is saying?
