Wilma Warren near Saint Louis, MO via Facebook What's on my mind...? Glad you asked FB. To God be the Glory!!!!! We had a marvelous time in the Lord today at the two men's prisons. God showed up BEFORE we got there...the men in both prisons had testimonies after testimonies about what God was doing in their lives...Some got jobs they had been waiting for a long time... to get... real jobs..paying like $6.00 a day ( it is about 75 cents a day) I did the math for you...in addition to the $7.50 they make per month. ( So yes, you can stop complaining about your good paying job that you dread). Some had gotten letters from their families especially their children. Others had learned to forgive the people they had been angry with for years...and had decided to let God handle those people...and to pray for them...instead of refusing to forgive them...Some shared that God had turned their sentences around or lessened them...and they were still in amazement...others were in total awe of the testimonies of the others. One young man was like when is God going to show me Himself...I asked him to breathe...He was like WHAT? I said breathe... I told him that was a start...He cried... He said something that simple blessed him. That is why it is so important to give your testimony because it will help someone else. While one of the ministers was preaching an offender kept pointing at his chest..and punching himself...I was like is he okay... HE was more than okay...the message the minister preached out of Habbakuk...was his testimony ...fully seeing God make his vision come to life... At the other prison an offender learned that he could help his daughter be a better daughter by writing her a letter. He had let the enemy fool him into NOT writing her because she had not written him. I just asked him...okay which one of you is the adult in this situation...? He just looked and his eyes teared up. He said he recognized ALL the time he had lost by being stubborn...As my granny would say...it is a pitiful person who has not one testimony of God's goodness...I thought she meant the person was pitiful...NO she meant the person had not noticed the simple blessings of God as testimonies like breathing, walking, talking. And a special testimony was from as young man who is trusting God for a healing in his body from a stroke...we are believing God with him. He promised that he was going to hold God accountable to keep His word...to heal him because he had JUST read today that God's word will NOT return void. The young man was all of 24 years old. So today was a glorious day in the Lord...with the offenders. Yes, they look forward to visits...and we look forward to that 200 mile drive one way...200 miles back... and...God thank You...for blessing us...more than they could ever imagine...we were blessed. In Jesus Name...Amen... P.S. Praise and Worship at one prison was old school... equipment did not work...they sang...old songs...in the other prison they danced and clapped to some Fred Hammond...and one man said he had not moved like that in months...( delivered...by his praise).
